After I was done with all the Teen Drama/Romance...I shifted to one of my favorite genres - Fantasy...I esp. like anything to do with Mythical Creatures (read Dragons for now)...
My First fantasy book in Wattpad was "The Dragon Riders of Arvain" by captain22
The story is set in some mythical world in the past when metal was newly discovered and Dragons were used in warfare. The story revolves around an Orphan Hayden who wishes to become a dragon rider. It starts off with him setting off on his journey to Arvain where the riders are chosen and trained. He meets an Old man on the way who gives him a more detailed description of the city and also about How a rider is selected.
What I like about this story is its fantastic description of the make believe world along with a very thought out story line. The author goes to great lengths trying to explain the history of the place and also of the riders. He also gives a very good description of the political and social scene in the city. The description of the competitions itself that lead to the selection of the riders and later the friendships bonded and the description of the Dragons as such is very captivating.
All in all a great read but too short and I am actually awaiting its second part.Do read it and let me know your opinions too...
